Capabilities

Central plant torack face.

Eight scopes, self-performed. One contractor accountable for the whole cooling path instead of four subs pointing at each other.

MECH — Core trade

Mechanical is the core trade

Air handling, equipment setting, and distribution. We rig it, set it, connect it, and balance it — the work the rest of the job gets built around.

  • Air handling units, rooftop units, and make-up air
  • Fan walls, in-row and computer room air handlers
  • Equipment setting and rigging — chillers, pumps, exchangers, towers
  • Ductwork fabrication and installation, low and medium pressure
  • VAV boxes, dampers, louvers, and terminal equipment
  • Exhaust, ventilation, smoke evacuation, and pressurization
  • Duct sealing and leakage testing
  • Refrigerant piping and split system installation
  • Rotating equipment alignment and startup
  • Test and balance coordination
PIPE — Process & utility piping

Welded, tested, documented

Every mechanical system is only as good as the pipe carrying it. We weld it, test it, and document it in house — no subbed-out welding, no gaps in the paper trail.

  • Carbon steel, stainless, copper, HDPE, and grooved / Victaulic systems
  • Large-bore and small-bore, above ground and underground
  • ASME B31.1, B31.3, and B31.9 scope
  • Certified welders with current WPS and WQR on file
  • Shop prefabrication — spools, pipe racks, pump skids, valve assemblies
  • Weld mapping, NDE coordination, and full material traceability
  • Hangers, supports, seismic bracing, expansion joints, and anchors
  • Insulation coordination and jacketing
CHW / CW — Central plant

The plant, and everything downstream

Heat rejection is the whole job. We build the machinery that moves it and the piping that carries it.

  • Air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, N+1 and 2N
  • Plate-and-frame heat exchangers for waterside economizer and loop isolation
  • Cooling towers, dry coolers, and adiabatic units, including basin piping and makeup
  • Primary/secondary and variable primary pumping, headers, and bypass
  • Expansion tanks, air separators, side-stream filtration
  • Chemical treatment: pot feeders, glycol feed, corrosion coupon racks
GLY — Glycol systems

Glycol is unforgiving

Wrong concentration, weak freeze protection, or an incomplete flush, and you find out in January or at 40% pump curve.

  • Propylene and ethylene loops mixed and verified by refractometer, with batch records
  • Freeze protection coordination, low-ambient sequencing, freeze-stat installation
  • Dedicated glycol makeup and pressurization packages
  • Full flush, passivation, and inhibitor charge before turnover
  • Sampling and lab reporting at handoff, so operations starts with a known baseline
  • Concentration verification at every seasonal changeover
CHWS / CHWR — Distribution

Distribution and white space

Risers, mains, and every connection at the rack face — including the liquid cooling scope high-density deployments now demand.

  • Large-bore risers, main loops, and floor distribution
  • Isolation valve trees, flow measuring stations, pressure-independent control valves
  • CRAH and CRAC hookups, condensate, and humidification piping
  • CDU installation and manifold piping for direct-to-chip liquid cooling
  • Rear-door heat exchanger connections and quick-disconnects
  • In-row cooling, overhead and underfloor distribution
  • Flexible hose drops and sub-floor piping
  • Drip pan and leak detection cable coordination
E & P — Electrical & plumbing

Full MEP, one contract

Splitting M, E, and P across three contractors is how coordination gaps become change orders.

  • Power distribution, feeders, branch circuits, and terminations
  • Equipment connections for chillers, pumps, AHUs, and controls
  • Conduit, cable tray, busway support, and grounding
  • Lighting, emergency lighting, and lighting controls
  • Domestic water, sanitary waste, vent, and storm
  • Condensate, makeup water, and equipment drains
  • Backflow prevention, water heaters, and pumps
  • Controls, BAS, and instrumentation rough-in and coordination
R&S — IT fit-out

Rack and stack

Cabinets set, anchored, aligned to the containment grid, and cabled — ready for first-article deployment.

  • Cabinet delivery, staging, leveling, bolt-down, seismic anchorage
  • Anti-tip anchoring completed before population
  • Rack alignment to containment grid and floor tile layout
  • Blanking panels, brush grommets, airflow sealing
  • Receptacle and voltage verification prior to energization
  • Structured cabling pathway, ladder rack, cable tray
  • Fiber termination and splicing for first-article and initial operations turnover
  • Coordination with electrical for busway tap-offs and rPDU mounting
HAC — Containment

Containment that actually seals

Cooling capacity is wasted the moment supply and return air mix.

  • Hot aisle ceilings, roof panels, end doors, drop-away fire-rated panels
  • Cold aisle containment and full-height end-of-row assemblies
  • Chimney and ducted cabinet returns
  • Air sealing at cable cutouts, floor penetrations, and rack gaps
  • Raised-floor tile load verification and coordination
  • Delta-T verification and airflow balancing to ASHRAE TC 9.9
